Civil occupation: general farming. His father Mathew was a farmer and his mother’s name is Ina Ester Lowish Cesinger. They lived in Terra Haute, Indiana. Alfred was assigned to Company D with the 28th Engineer Training Battalion on 17 Feb 1942 at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri.
