Enlisted: 16 February 1942 and discharged 29 September 1945. His record shows that he transferred from the 95th Engineer (GS) Regiment to the 1698th Combat Engineer Battalion.
Civilian occupation: taxi cab driver. His father was Jake Primus (1889-1959) and his mother was Diola Britt (1886-1989). His brother was Rubenstein B. Primus (1919-2001). The headstone application records his wife’s name as Rosa Primus, however his death certificate records that he was never married.
