Elizabeth Ellen Richardson married Capt Reger on 15 Jun 1935. Capt Boyd of Company C, 93rd Engr BN, reported that 1st Lt (at that time) Wray Reger had a great baritone voice. He would lead the singing when the BN marched past Battalion Headquarters at Camp Livingston. Some of the songs included “When the Saints Go Marching On”, “I Shall Not Be Moved” and “That Old Black Magic”.
His father was Fred Hampton Reger born 1877 and died 1915. His mother was Bessie Lois Hess Reger born 1885 and died 1959.
He arrived at Chilkoot Barracks, Haines, AK on 3 January 1943. He was Assistant Personnel Officer from 3 January 1943 to 31 January 1943 and departed from Chilkoot Barracks on 18 February 1943. He arrived at Ft. Randall, Cold Bay, AK on 27 February 1943.
At Ft. Randall he was Assistant S-3 from 1 March 1943 to 27 April 1943. He was released from assignment with 93rd and assigned to 176th Engineers at Naknek, AK. Departed from Ft. Randall for new assignment on 28 February 1943.
