Alaska Highway.H & S Company and Commander of Company F. Born: 2 July 1914, Tennessee Died: 12 April 1987, Fairfax, VA. He was one of the original cadre officers with the 93rd Engineer Battalion at Camp Livingston and continued with the 93rd Regiment to the Alaska Highway inYukon Territory.
He studied electrical engineering at University of Tennessee. Lt. Squires stated that Jakes Corner, location of the motor pool, was named after him.
In 1940 census he, age 25, was an civil engineer at Nates and Light Company. He was a member of the Delta Sigma Phi at University of Tennessee. His wife was Kathryn C. Jacobsen. His father was Cleveland Jacobsen and employed as a railroad agent/operator. His mother was Nettie Robbs.
